Chinese (Mandarin) , beginner/intermediate grammar questions

Hi im trying to say,
I have eaten two apples

Is that (in pinyin):
Wo chi le liang ge pingguo
Or
Wo liang ge pingguo chi le

It's the first. Mandarin word order is nearly always SVO.

我吃了两个苹果。

That second word order sounds like it would be the norm in some kind of dialect or other Sinitic language, but not in Mandarin.

"I have eaten two apples" means “我吃了两个苹果”
so in pinyin:wo chi le liang ge ping guo
