Every year at the Esperanto world's international conference (Universala Kongreso) they hold an International Congress University with many lectures over varied topics. Here's 2017's list:

Laŭ rekomendo de la IKU-komisiono, la Estraro de UEA decidis pri la prelegoj de la ĉi-jara sesio de la Internacia Kongresa Universitato (IKU). El 17 ricevitaj proponoj, kadre de la IKU okazos naŭ prelegoj, el kiuj kvar havos daŭrigajn prelegojn kaj servos ankaŭ kiel kursoj de la Akademio Internacia de la Sciencoj (AIS): Solidareca agado pri migrantoj kaj rifuĝantoj en Eŭropa Unio (Alcalde), Poliglotoj kaj novaj teorioj pri lingvoakirado (Charters kaj Lee), Pra-kolonia lingvopolitiko en Havajo (Fernández), Instruo de saĝuloj – malproksimorienta lernolibro (Zieba). La aliaj IKU-prelegoj traktos pri tre variaj temoj kiel Sanprizorgado de Orienta Medicino (Chong), Historio kaj evoluo de la kariljona muzikarto (Haazen), La matematiko de primnombroj (Lo Jacomo), Masa spektroskopio por studado de praaj klimataj ŝanĝiĝoj (Raola) kaj Clarence Bicknell, poeto, pionira esperantisto, sciencisto (Tonkin).

The full text of the lectures is available at UEA's online bookstore. Don't know the cost of 2017's text but 2016's is 124 pages and 18 euros.

I really prefer https://booksrun.com/ . I got several French textbooks there, the most interesting thing is that you can sell them there after using.

Browsing the College de France website, I've come across something called Open Edition Books
OpenEdition Books est une plateforme de livres en sciences humaines et sociales. Plus de la moitié d'entre eux est en libre accès. Des services complémentaires sont proposés via les bibliothèques et institutions abonnées.
