With the decline of activity on the HTLAL, during my increasingly infrequent visits to the site, I rarely take the time to "scroll down" to the very bottom of list of sub-forums. Nevertheless, I did so this morning and came across the following post to which someone on this forum might have the answer:

Sounds kind of Scandinavian. I heard something like "anything" from one and "what do you <unknown>?" from the other.

It just sounded "foreign".

I can't hear that at all. They don't have a Scandinavian accent imo either, but the sound clip is quite noisy.

1. Not English.
Possibly an Arabic dialect, maybe Moroccan?
I hear something like this: Ghesh korel/korol/koron/ Martin? is2alo (اسأله)!
"Martin" is maybe a name and "is2alo!" means "Ask him!" in Arabic.
I could be wrong of course.

For what it's worth, I have replied to the OP on the HTLAL with a link to this forum. In any case, the bad guys are long gone!
