SRS- maximum amount of cards per day

I do about 400 cards a day. It takes about 2 hours. I have 7 decks: 4 of listening, 2 of Active words, and 1 of Passive words. It is a lot of work. I hate having a backlog. I have about 30 new cards every day. When I get too tired of the thing, I stop adding new cards. I try to avoid burning out. I split cards study in 3 groups: Morning, Noon, and Evening. The key is to end the day without backlog. Days that I do not want to study because of other commitments, I have not regret. I pass everybody. It does not make much of a difference because I know that they will eventually show up.

Have you ever tried pace like 50 or 100 new cards a day?

I added around 150 Greek cards today. I add however many new cards I want to add based on my goals and my plans. Then I answer cards for however much time I feel like - around 50mins/day during 6WCs and 20mins/day otherwise. I don't care much if cards are overdue or not. I read and listen to stuff and that's revision, too. SRS multipliers are just estimates and averages, not guarantee that you'd forget a card. But then I'm not studying for an exam.

50 new cards per day. Three of my decks have a lot unseen cards, so that means 3x50 new ones per day. I missed the Anki session yesterday, and as a result I had more than 400 reviews for Esperanto and another 400 for Mandarin (plus all the other languages of course). No "swipe right" quick fix à la Rdearman (I'm using the desktop software), but I know when I know something. It's not that I stare at a card for ten seconds and concentrate on every minute detail. Either I know it or I don't.
