I find coming up with good names quite tricky at times. If I can't hit on a good name within a few minutes I tend to go for something unique that I can easily globally replace later on when the muse finally strikes. How about LeaderboardPositionDecay or something equally long and silly?

I think we need a more detailed context here. Like in comparison to what? Is "transitory" or "temporary" not good enough? What other classes/categories are you using?
