Is there anything comparable to French in Action or Destinos for Russian?

If there was, my Googling probably would have found something. But I want to double-check because it would be such a great resource.

No quite the same - but there is BBC Russian Language and People - here is a YouTube link - the rest of the 20 programme series can be found on the same guy's Youtube channel. Best to download them if you can.

The BBC book is available on Amazon. The old book can be got for 0.01 plus postage. Don't know if the new version is different as I don't study Russian.

I would add that Кухня is probably one of the easiest series to understand. The production levels are very high and the audio is always clear. When in some other shows it can be much harder to make out speech against the background of other noise/sound effects/random music. I'm on episode 60 and actually enjoy the show without straining myself too hard at all.

Totally offtopic, but nice to see that pic of Moscow :D
I'm not aware of anything comparable either. I'm collecting links to fun materials here, but for Russian I'm only aware of GLOSS and one or two songs on lyricstraining. But I suppose you meant specifically video materials.

Ah...BBC Russian Language and People! This was the first Russian course book I ever bought, and I think I got a little over halfway through. I didn't know there were videos for this as well (or if I did, I forgot)...bookmark, play, happy memories. Спасибо большое, Elixi!! :)
