It looks like it only supports a handful of language.

There are alternatives, like Language Reactor and Migaku. I've found Language Reactor covers a large range of languages and has tools that are language independent. With Migaku even if your target language is not supported it still has tools you can use.

Quite a few browsers can install Chrome extensions, though if you use one of the ones that don't, I realise that's not helpful.
