Prompt:
Please explain the meaning of the Spanish verb "conseguir" and give examples

It will give you a short summary of what it finds and refer to the sources ([1] ...) for further study

The Spanish verb "conseguir" can mean to get, obtain, achieve, manage, find, attain or obtain[1][2].
It is conjugated in all Spanish tenses[3][4] and is used to talk about actions completed in the past at a specific point in time[3].
For example, "conseguí" means "I got"[3] and "Debo conseguir una beca" translates to "I must get a scholarship"[2].
It can also be used to refer to winning a prize or championship[5]

-------------------------------
Further down it will suggest little chapters with more findings relating to the task like

how to use conseguir in a sentence

Examples of using "conseguir" in a sentence include "Los bomberos consiguieron controlar el fuego" (The firefighters managed to bring the fire under control)[1], "Era muy difícil conseguir a una persona de confianza con quien dejar a los niños" (It was very hard to find a trustworthy person to leave the children with)[2], "Si lo consiguen, el nuevo primer ministro sería quien pediría la prórroga y no él" (If they succeed, the new prime minister would be the one to ask for an extension and not him)[3], "Yo siempre consigo lo que quiero" (I always get what I want)[4]and "Los ladrones consiguieron llevarse muchas cosas valiosas" (The thieves managed to take many valuable items)[5]

-------------------------------------------------
You can make the whole into a very quick pop-up machine if you use "perplexity.ai" in Firefox' addon "pop-up-dictionary"

https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/a ... ictionary/

When you install perplexity in the popup dictionary, the prompt search is contained in "$$"

https://www.perplexity.ai/?q=$$

When you then do a search in a text just mark and click on it, and the perplexity search will appear.

If you want to translate something in the search results, additionally use the addon "Simple Translate", another popup.
