I've been browsing Amazon, and I've only found three Persian-English children's books with audio tracks, all from Sefa's Bilingual Picture Books. I already have The Wild Swans, and I'm about to buy the other two. Does anyone know of any others?
Also, Amazon searches for "The Hobbit Farsi" and "The Hobbit Persian" turned up nothing. Obviously, a Persian translation of The Hobbit must exist, so how do I find it? I looked into changing my region, but there's no option for Iran or any other country where I know that Persian is widely spoken.
Of course, if I do find The Hobbit, I'll need an audiobook of that, as well.

Perhaps you can have luck by looking up Tolkien in the Farsi or Persian section of Wikipedia. I sometimes do that to get the foreign language title of a book I am looking for...

I use worldcat.org and wikipedia.org to find titles in different languages.Khayyam wrote:

Re: Looking for more Persian-English children's books with audio tracks
As others have said, you will get more results by using Persian instead of English. Find the name of the author in Persian, find the title in Persian, find what "audiobook","download" are in Persian, put that in Google, Youtube, etc. and see what comes out. You have to go out of the English bubble, why would a Persian translation of The Hobbit feature prominently on the English-speaking internet?
There are some Iranian websites that let you download pdfs and audiobooks (lots of trial and error though) but I am not too sure about legal ramifications so I won't post links here.
For children books, see also https://www.storybookscanada.ca/stories/fa/.

Re: Looking for more Persian-English children's books with audio tracks
There are many audiobooks here:
http://book.iranseda.ir/
Most of them are heavily abridged, so you won't be able to find matching texts anywhere.
Here's a big library of children's books, a small number of them have audio:
https://icnl.nlai.ir/bookreader.html
(offline right now, but with luck they will be back on later)
Edit:
I was able to find a Persian audiobook of the Hobbit here:
