As someone above mentioned, grammar. I lost count how many times I've had to explain to a heritage Russian speaker some point of their own language's grammar. The younger my interlocutor, the more I knew about their grammar. The older Russophone speakers were more impressed with my grammar usage (thank you, DLI Russian teachers!), and were frankly impressed that I knew grammatical terms in Russian.

That's called "pantorrilla" or "gemelo" in spanish, and it looks the same than calf in english or mollet in french (rear part of the lower leg).

maybe we can add terms in general (scientific/technic)
i remember some native englishes did not understand some terms until i explained.

So how do you say calf in French? The shin refers to the bone so it's not that. It's not leg as that reffers to the thighs most of the time & not the lower leg

Mollet is not the right translation as it refers to the back of the calf. What is the body part called of the side/front of the calf in French?
