Thank you all for reminding me of VLC!
I had thought of asking a similar question, because the current programm I had on my phone was unable to find at least one audiobook (the only one I tried adding so far...) and although I could find it in the file directory, the files were not in order, which is no fun at all, because this one audiobook already consists of more than 100 separate files.
It was not yet too urgent though, but I knew I had to resolve this before my vacation, since I will spend a lot of time in trains and hope to use some of that time for relaxed listening practice.
So thanks for solving my problem.
