Do you have any suggestions about good Latin American newspapers that are available online. I would also be interested in good Latin American radio news show that I could get online.
I know of some things but I bet there are people way ahead of me on figuring this out...

Re: Good Latin American Newspaper/Podcast
These days, it seems almost every newspaper site has a paywall up of some kind. I can tell you what I read. I read El Nuevo Día from San Juan, Puerto Rico. I live a hundred miles from San Juan, so, Puerto Rican news is meaningful to me. They have a paywall. If you jump around sites in a month, with different browsers sometimes, or an online vpn, you can avoid the paywall.
I also like to keep up with what's going on with our neighbors in the Dominican Republic with Listín Diario.
Cuba is a country I've been fascinated by for a long time. I have diametrically opposed sources for Cuban news. From the Cuban government, Granma. From the Cuban dissidents: 14ymedio; Diario de Cuba. El Nuevo Herald from Miami has good LA and Cuban coverage. As a bonus, the news from South Florida itself is wild and zany. I listen to Radio Ambulante, of course and to Cuban dissident Yoani Sánchez's podcast.
My problem with news from individual countries that I don't know well is that I don't know them well enough to really get a lot of benefit from their news sources. I prefer a good overview. I find I get that from El País América and AP Noticias. Mexico is a long way away from me, much closer to you in California for sure. I'm sure someone will have good resources from there.

I real El Pais' Latin American edition whenever I can. I think there are 10 free articles per month before you have to subscribe:
https://elpais.com/america/
BBC Mundo is also an excellent paper, IMO, and while it doesn't have an American "edition," it has an American section:
https://www.bbc.com/mundo
So both of these are European, but they both have pieces devoted to the Americas, so I'm not sure it matters much.
EDIT: nvm. I reread your post and see that you answered my podcast question in it.

Whenever I'm looking for news of something that happened down south, I go to La Prensa. They have editions for several countries:
Mexico-- www.laprensa.mx
Argentina-- www.laprensa.ar

Noticias Telemundo has a new video uploaded to YouTube at least once a day, often twice a day and usually are 15-20 minutes in length. They focus on US news as it relates to Hispanic-Americans and also do a lot of stuff on Mexico.
Fun fact: Jose Diaz-Balart, the main newscaster has a brother who is a U.S. senator and are nephews by marriage to Fidel Castro.

Oh crap, how did I forget Radio Ambulante? Long podcasts with a range of topics and includes a transcript in Spanish and an English translation. Prepare to learn a butt-ton of Spanish.
