I'm about half-and-half, Kindle and IRL books. Most of my Esperanto books are dead-tree books. More than half of my English-language books are Kindle and/or Audible.
The Kindle I throw into my back pocket or backpack, so I can read wherever. I don't read Kindle books on my iPhone, as my DD does. Screen is just too small.

You're not a C1 (or B1 or whatever) if you haven't tested.

Re: What do you use to E-Read?
I use a Kindle grudgingly. I also use the Kindle app on an iPad since I always have at least two books going and it's annoying to continually switch back and forth. I have the Kobo app on my iPad but as much as I've tried to switch to using it more (and considered buying a Kobo eReader) the dictionaries aren't as good and the prices are higher in some cases or they don't have the book I want. There has been one time they had a book that Amazon didn't so I had hoped to encounter that situation more frequently but it must have been a fluke.
I prefer the paper white of the eReader as it's easier on the eyes. I don't enjoy reading books on my iMac at all. Even though I have quite a few physical books I tend not to read them because I prefer the ease of being able to do a quick dictionary lookup when needed.

Re: What do you use to E-Read?
I use a kindle for reading english and japanese. i use an android ereader + moonreader + goldendict for reading korean since the kindle does not support korean. yes you can read korean books on the kindle but you cannot look up anything and even if you install a korean-eng dictionary it does not work. the android reader i use is likebook 7.8 in ereader but there's lotsa options out there for android ereaderes.
so with goldendict i can use k-k, k-e, and k-j dictionaries! it's much better than NO Dictionaries lol

Re: What do you use to E-Read?
The Kindle is a great device, but I don't like it for learning languages. The dictionary look-up functionality is too slow, and it takes a few seconds just to look up a word, which adds up over time. Or maybe my Kindle is just too old?
I prefer using an e-reader app on my phone or even reading on computer.
I rarely read paper books, unless there is no digital version.

Re: What do you use to E-Read?
Depends on type of content.
Nonfiction is in pdf to keep its formatting and therefore read on a Huawei tablet (Kindle can't handle it).
All fiction is currently read on a Kindle Paperwhite. The advantage is that the lightning doesn't impact my sleep. When reading on a computer, I can basically stay awake all night. The disadvantage is that it's frustrating slow to look up words and it tend to reboot constantly. The lookup was recently solved by creating interlinear books. The crashes and rebooting I'm considering solving by purchasing a Kobo with the advantage of also having physical buttons.
