Latin Translation Help
I want to print some labels fir my library collection. I want to roughly say, “From the books of the family of Dario Mazzola” in Latin. Is “EX LIBRIS DE COGNATIONE DARIO MAZZOLA” correct? Thanks

Re: Latin Translation Help
"Cognatio" would comprise a whole clan, while "familia" is less comprehensive (centered around a pater familias).
The use of "de" is possible, but in Classical Latin I think a genitive would be preferred (cognationis or familiae), and following that, the genitive of the person's name would be something like Darionis Mazzolae.
