Dialog+: improved speech audio track via Hbbtv2

The improvement of speech intelligibility in broadcast programs has become an important issue for broadcasters in Germany and they recognized the need for action. IRT has been working on different approaches on how to improve speech intelligibility in broadcast programs for several years now. One solution is a separate Dialog+ mix. IRT has developed a showcase application for TV which can already be used right now on all devices which support the HbbTV2 standard. - Have a look!

Als nächste Sendung im Pilotprojekt ist die Dokumentation "Die Pistenbären von Whistler“ am 12. Dezember um 10 Uhr geplant.
Das neue Angebot ist regelmäßig auch für BR-Produktionen der Sendereihe "Natur exclusiv“ jeweils samstags um 16.15 Uhr vorgesehen.
