I can't find romanian books
If you type german A1, italian A1, results come like dust in the wind. If you type romanian A1, nothing comes up. I'm quite lost and don't really know where to begin.

Re: I can't find romanian books
Are you looking for books to read in Romanian or books to learn the language? Did you try beginner instead of A1 specifically?

In addition to "beginner," you may also want to include the search term "children's" for simpler texts, like the riveting Unde este bebelusul? ["Where is the baby?"] though with a target age of 1-3, this particular item will likely not be of interest.

(Spoiler alert: the baby appears to be in the bath tub.)
I appreciate this is not what you are asking for, and may be something you already know, but in case it may be of interest here is a link to some sample ECL examination testing materials (not CEFR per se, but I understand it is patterned after CEFR). With the fun (and I believe since the 70s mostly outdated ?) alternate spelling of Rumanian.
