Please help me read the document below. The unknown words are marked with "XXX"
Consommation des munitions: les batteries ont tiré ou minimum 300 XXX par piece; XXX ont tiré 400 XXX. Pertes: v. le tableau annuye.
The first and third XXX are surely some kind of shells? But what is the second XXX? "Cetramis"?
Does it mean that batteries fired at least 300 shells for each gun but some of them fired even 400?

Not sure, but it could be:
Consommation des munitions: les batteries ont tiré au minimum 300 coups par pièce; Certaines ont tiré 400 coups. Pertes: v. le tableau annexe.
Answer to question: yes.

Re: Please help me read short fragment of a French document
I understand that 45th Infantry Regiment was loaded onto buses - but I'm not sure of the place - Oulchy le Chateau? And debarkament Bzeny?
The second paragraph is about Battalion (name of commander is undreadable for me) that is engaged in Hartenne ? ou tout signales des convois ? I don't understand it.
The third paragraph says "Tandis que le Btn Bowedien recoit une mission speciale" [I don't haver French diacritical marks here sorry]
So simply that "While battalion Bowedin recived a special mission
Please check, correct if necessary and fill the gaps. I will be grateful!

Re: Please help me read short fragment of a French document
- "Oulchy le chateau" is correct, then "unloading at Breny"
- As for the name of the battalion, I read it as "Marconnet"
- I agree with "Hartenne". There's an place named "Hartennes-et-Taux" near Breny, or so Google tells me
- "où sont signalés des convois" > "where convoys are reported"
- "Bourdieu" > "while the Bourdieu battalion receives a special mission"

Mon cher cjareck,
As a fellow (amateur) military historian and Francophile, might suggest that you acquire a copy of the “Cortina French English Military Manual” which I reviewed briefly under the Cortina Languages thread below? Not only might it help you resolve some of your questions, it would also expand your First World War French and English vocabulary.

Re: Please help me read short fragment of a French document
Since the fragment seemed to be interesting I started investigating it further. Of course, it caused further need for help
It means that their convoy was shot at by cavalry machineguns and armored car east of Hartennes?
I think that the word I couldn't read didn't hinder understanding of the fragment:
"About 9 the battalions were embarked on autobuses et started their way [names of the Places] Each battalion was attached to one cavalry division"
Les mitrailleuses de cavalerie, et l'auto mitrailleuse ouvrent le feu sur la queue d'un convoie a l'Est d'Hartennes
