Time Management and Learning a New Language

I've done about 4 years worth of work on my Spanish and about 2 years worth of work on my Arabic. I love both and wish I could keep on improving and working on my Arabic, but the itch to learn a new language has superseded my want to increase it.

With that said, I want to soon begin learning a new language but don't want all of my hard work over the last several years to go to waste for Spanish, but particularly for Arabic. What can I do to ensure that I maintain my languages at the least while working on this new one?

All tips/advice are welcome! Thanks!

Two options immediately come to mind:

1) "Ladder" your next language off of Spanish. That is, use Spanish-based resources to learn it

2) Change some routine aspect of your life into Spanish. That could be your daily news feed, your twitter feed, your magazine subscriptions, your TV time, etc.

I say Spanish because of its relative ease for an English speaker to transition into these activities. This way, you would divide your study time to continuing Arabic and to beginning your new one.
