For people who have studied Korean. What are some of the irregularities or things you just have to memorize by rote?

Re: Irregularities of Korean?
I think that adverbs are the number one thing that it’s helpful to memorize. By adverbs I don’t mean the Korean equivalents to the English “-ly” words that are formed from adjectives, there are tons of other fixed adverbs that don’t all have a clear linguistic connection to other words that make it easy to memorize. Unfortunately they are extremely deemphasized in beginner Korean but they were my biggest headache when I finally started to read real books in Korean.
