I used to wathc Españoles en el mundo.
It's a weekly show about spaniards who live in different parts of the world. TV crew visits them and they present their country or location and tell why they moved there, what they like about it etc. Great for listening, real everyday dialogue, differenent accents, different talking speeds. Plus you can learn a thing or two about the featured country or region.

Good news: I just checked, and Club de Cuervos, Gran Hotel, & a third series, Pablo Escobar, el patrón de mal - all have Spanish closed-captions.
Cuervos also has Spanish subtitles, but in my experience Netflix subtitles suck. They offer SP/FR/DE dubbing and subtitles of all their original series, but the subtitles never match up with the dubbing and it's super distracting.

El chavo del 8 is available on Netflix (at least in the U.S.). Spanish audio with English or Spanish subtitles.

It looks very interesting. I registered on the site, but I can not get any of the videos to play. I tried both Chrome and Firefox, on both Linux and Windows. The videos look like they are going to play, but then they just revert back to the index of videos. Maybe it is a regional thing. Any suggestions?

Have you tried "Modify Headers"? viewtopic.php?f=15&t=794&p=2080&hilit=Modify+Headers#p2080

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't think that is the problem. I did some more experimenting. I can watch other videos on that site. But in the section "espanoles-en-el-mundo", the menu and play video systems just don't seem to be working for me. I assume others are not having any problems. I will continue troubleshooting.

Same problem here. The featured episode will not play in Firefox or Chrome. Having a Mac, I tried Safari, but no luck there, either. And for the sake of thoroughness, I tried Opera, but still no video.
None of the other videos on the Portada would play, either.
