CELI B2

Postby Liv123 » Fri Jun 14, 2019 1:32 pm

I’m taking the CELI 3 (B2 Italian) exam in a week’s time and I can’t find any information on the oral exam... has anyone else taken it and if so:

1. How long is it?
2. Are you give all three different types of question (e.g.: a photo, a text and a dialogue) or just one out of the three?
3. Do you get a short amount of time beforehand to prepare or do they just give you the photo or whatever when you’re in the room?

I can't help you with the exam, but I am interested in where you are taking it? I'm trying to schedule one myself.

It’s been a nightmare trying to schedule it as the U.K. doesn’t seem to have anywhere that holds it. So I’m having to fly to Italy to take the exam (that I’m not entirely certain I’ll even pass!)

This is not what your are looking for, but I was trying to search for CELI on YouTube to see if there were some examples and I came across this blog which seems to have a bunch of listening tests at various levels. I thought it might be useful to someone. Unfortunately, since I don’t know Italian, I’m not very good at finding stuff or judging the quality of what I find.

Didn't someone post a link to a blog from a guy who tracked everything he did before taking the Italian C1 or C2 test? I can't find the link now but maybe somewhere in the Italian Resources thread? It was very detailed; he might have info there on how the orals are structured.

You're not a C1 (or B1 or whatever) if you haven't tested.
