Spanish/Italian overview
I wonder whether anyone could help me out? I think it would be helpful to be able to refer to a list/glossary/book of differences in Spanish and Italian usage. Just wondering whether such a document exists out there before I start compiling my own. Anything I eventually cobble together I'll share here. Thanks.

Re: Spanish/Italian overview
I was thinking of prepositions, differences in use of the subjunctive and possibly a list of false friends - these are the areas where I make most of my mistakes in Italian, my weaker language of the two.

This is not the deepest and most thorough resource you can find, but it's kind of funny and answer your question a bit:

Re: Spanish/Italian overview
Thanks for bringing this up.
https://www.larousse.es/index.php?opcio ... cion=18615
This is a link to the Spanish Larousse, the three books on Italian grammar, vocabulary, and verbs may be worth a look. I have a similar ones but in French-Italian and by Robert and Nathan (didn't find those for Es-It combination) and they are really helpful. Both for vocabulary and for grammar.
In the other direction, there is Zanichelli with similar works, or this thing published by Loesher: https://www.amazon.es/enga%C3%B1osas-Gr ... y&sr=8-186
If we reduce the issue just to false friends, there are various good looking lists like this one: http://hyperpolyglotte.com/aprende_ital ... _it_es.php But there are surely bound to be more than just this not that long list. Perhaps also some of the lists on Decks.memrise might be useful.
There are also more serious looking books like "Contrastiva. Grammatica della lingua spagnola per italofoni" by Barbero, Bermejo, San Vincente. This seems to be less learner friendly than the Larousse and similar books, but it might still be a nice option.
