Strike through text

This might be a really silly question (sorry!) but is there a way to cross out text in a post?

I was trying to show some corrections to a text I'd written in my log earlier today and it would have been useful if I could have put a line through words that were incorrect.

I'm sure in some forum in that past I have been able to do this using code like [strike][/strike] but I can't remember what type of forum that was. Is there any similar code that can be used here to strike through text?
