Email hasn't been working for awhile, seems google doesn't like it when you use their free email system for forums. I don't know why you can't use chrome. If you post in the technical area with the error message you're getting someone might know. I don't use Chrome but I'll look into it. Post in the technical request area though so others will know what the problem/solution is.

If I can not access the Forum, where should I send an email requesting help?
What I try to access via Chrome I get:
You exceeded the maximum allowed number of login attempts. In addition to your username and password you now also have to solve the CAPTCHA below.
Can anyone help?

Thanks so much for your thorough response; greatly appreciated.
I love this Forum and am a totally ardent fan of its many threads, but I worry about getting locked out and not having an email to send to for requesting sign on help. Is there an email box people can send to if one is locked out?

Not at the moment. We setup a google mail account, but it got closed down because of usage limits on gmail. We have another server but this version of PhpBB will not support the encrpytion method used. At some point we'll upgrade the version we use, and the plugins, and the extensions to the latest version. But that will probably mean a days downtime, so we'll need to schedule it and announce it in advance. There is a facebook group which some of the moderators watch, so worst case you can post there.

Due to security issues that FB has, I am not a member of Facebook.

There is also a Twitter account. And many of the members are on Twitter and could be contacted there.
