So I would like to make links that are words, rather than the link address. I've tried both of these:
<a href="yahoo.com">Yahoo</a>
[url="yahoo.com"]Yahoo[/url]
and neither work for me. What is the secret, please?

In the second example remove the quotation marks and add http://

should give
