Constantly being logged out of forum

Postby chokofingrz » Wed May 04, 2016 2:56 pm

I've suffered on and off with this problem ever since registering. I leave this forum open in a browser tab all day (logged in), and whenever I come back to it (usually after a few hours at least) I'm logged out. I believe the maximum period of inactivity I can have (and still be logged in) is around 1 hour.

I thought in the past this was due to me doing things on my end like switching VPNs or deleting cookies. But I've stopped doing those things and I still get logged out far too often. I believe it's the board settings. I don't have problems on other sites.

Any thoughts?

I think that's just the way this site is chokofingrz. Even when I check the box to keep me logged on it occurs.

I have occasionally had this problem with other phpBB-based forums. Not this one though. I could never figure out what the problem was. Some browsers have an option to delete cookies and other cached data when closing the browser. Maybe you want to check that.
