I'm taking a yin/yang view of this now. The pain of this slowness will meet its contrast when the reboot occurs. Can my western impatience deal with this?

Sometimes it's fast, sometimes it's slow - and it can change from minut to minut. And if you can't see any activity and press submit again then you may end up with the same message twice (that's what just happened to me). I'm seriously thinking about doing my intended additions to my personal log in a wordfile, and then I can upload the lot ASAP if and when the forum returns to sanity. If it doesn't do that soon then I'm fairly certain that even legit longtime users will loose faith and abandon the site. The present situation is as bad as that which basically killed off HTLAL, and the only consolation is that rDearman still is active and knows about the situation. We didn't have the same confident feelings about FX at HTLAL, and that's what ultimately lead to the exodus from that once glorious site.
PS: this morning the forum is slow, but it works. Yesterday evening it didn't.

Forum back to being unusable again for me. Log-in slow. Extremely difficult to vote for a post. Pages slow to load with oodles of 504 errors. Sigh

I've just spent 37 minutes logging in and getting to the point of this one reply. Since I initiated the thread it hasn't changed for me at all. No slow, but then fast like some have reported. Just very slow. It's okay though, I know rdearman has seen it and is on it.

Truly a sign of the beginning of the end. We may have to start a new forum.
