Progress bars

Postby William Camden » Sun Dec 13, 2015 6:35 pm

I notice some people have their progress bars attached to their messages. How is this done? I have a link to my own Scottish Gaelic progress bar, but it does not show up in my messages.

Most people put them in their signature. Found under User Control Panel|Profile|Edit Signature.

The progress bars are appearing so enlarged in my browser (google) that they are obscuring the posts. Any suggestions?

edit: they appear on a big white square, which usually takes up at least half the area of the accompanying post.

What browser are you using? By "Google" do you mean "Google Chrome"? What version?

What operating system are you using (Windows?) and what version?

A screenshot would also be helpful.

Are you talking about progress bars in your own posts, or in other people's posts. What browser are you using? Chrome?

I have a similar issue. Using Google Chrome on Windows. Here is what it looks like.
There's no issue if I use Firefox, though.

Ohhhh, that's because it was using the "code" tag. Not something specific to the "progress" tag. William will need to change his sig to use "progress"' without "code", as was mentioned earlier in the thread.

I don't think that's the issue.
Every progress bar is like that.
