Hi, I tried to put some Unicode Cuneiform into a post but got a message that it "contained unsupported characters". I tried to do a bit of research to see if I could find a way to fix this, and I didn't see a clear-cut answer but I thought these threads might be helpful:

The first thread indicates that there's a setting that will allow 3-byte Unicode character addresses, but unfortunately it looks like Cuneiform characters use four bytes so that would probably not help.

Re: Full UTF-8 support?
Even if you somehow figured out the correct encoding, the forum software probably wouldn't render the characters correctly, because the default body font is Tahoma which doesn't contain cuneiform glyphs.
Some time ago I suggested changing the default font to Arial which at least renders IPA characters correctly, but I never got a reply from rdearman:
Add a font menu for better IPA rendering
If he can't be bothered to add a simple font menu, for which several ready-made solutions exist, I seriously doubt that he'll add full utf-8 support.
