I want to make a post elsewhere in the forum to discuss an audio file, but when I try to attach the file (which I named "sample.mp3") I get an error message saying "Invalid file extension sample.mp3". I tried converting it to .wav and got the same error message. I know these are valid extensions because they work as intended on my computer.
I've tried using the "Add Files" button and dragging the file and dropping it into the message, but the result is the same. Is there some trick I need to use to attach an audio file?
How to Attach Audio File?

Re: How to Attach Audio File?
PhpBB doesn't natively support uploading or playing audio files. It only supports pictures by default. So there isn't a trick, it just will not work. However you can just put it on your google drive and insert the URL link which you're given to share the file into the post.

Does this include the [audio] [/audio] tags as well?

Audio tags are enabled and appear to work.
