Do we have an official or agreed acronym for this new site language-learners.org?
If not, can we please decide on one? For things like registering for the 6WC.
I'll 拋磚引玉 (to throw a piece of brick in hope of attracting a piece of jade): Maybe "LLo"?

Re: Official Acronym for language-learners.org
The acronym would be for the whole website and not just the forum, is that right?
Anyway, I think "LLs" reads better than "LLo" I suggested earlier.

Re: Official Acronym for language-learners.org
"A language learners’ forum" was just a random generic name I picked out quickly, so we had something at the top of the site while we picked a real name. We had some pretty nice suggestions in one of the old threads, and we might want to take another look at some point.
Probably LLo is "safe", because that's the domain name, and that's much less likely to change than the "official" name.

Re: Official Acronym for language-learners.org
I wholeheartedly agree that we need to establish our own new identity as a forum, distinct from the old HTLAL and other language learning sites, with the first ports of call being i. an easily pronounceable/memorable acronym, and ii. a distinctive cool logo. This is an exciting prospect, and perhaps in light of the importance of the task, this thread should be made more visible for everyone to contribute to over the next few weeks, i.e., given a temporary sticky thread or a top-level link in the most popular forum area/folder on this site.
Another thing to keep in mind is what meaning our new name or image might evoke in other languages and cultures. For example, "LLO" sounds quite safe at first, but then it also sounds a bit like "lolo", which is commonly used in several languages to mean "crazy", with strong ties in my neck of the Pacific to "pakalolo" (marijuana, lit. wacky backy = crazy tobacco). For others, however, maybe "LLO" just evokes thoughts of saying "hello" or laughing-out-loud, flashbacks to the Electric Light Orchestra, or visions of a more militant Language Liberation Organization, whose members sneak into Barnes and Noble under the cover of night, dressed in multicolored balaclavas adorned in the flags of their second languages, to insert clandestine Assimil leaflets into big yellow boxes. It's always a tough call and probably impossible to keep everyone happy, but the more international eyes and ears we have as part of the initial creative process, the more informed the eventual decision.
I guess there aren't too many options in terms of developing an acronym, given that we already have a clear domain name ("language-learners"). So perhaps we could also have a look at the original thread for naming our forum for further background and inspiration (if I'm not mistaken, I think this is the older thread emk was suggesting: A new forum name?).
Honorable mentions in the creative naming process go to "tonguelovers.org" (this one still makes me smile!), "Fluent in 5 Minutes" (always good to raise that bar high...), and "Langers" (this is something I came up with and thought was a cool idea for about one and a half seconds, and then remembered it was slang for "drunk" in my little corner of Ireland - oh well!)
Anyway...scrolling through our related posts on this topic, and extending on rdearman's initial list above, these are some of the suggestions we've come up with so far:
ALL (Association of Language Learners)
ALLF (A Language Learners' Forum)
ELLL (Extraordinary League of Language Learners)
FLL (Forum for Language Learners)
LangF (Language Forum)
LL (Language Learners)
LLF (Language Learners' Forum)
LLO (Language Learners' Organization)
LLORG (Language Learners' Organization) - with Jeff's suggested pronunciation of course [ɬɔɾˠəɡ]
LLS (Language Learners' Site)

Earlier I had suggested: Learn Our World's Languages (LOWL), Good acronym.
