Can active topics be grouped by forum?

Can active topics be grouped by forum?

I like the feature at HTLAL where active topics group according to forum.
Is that possible with phpbb?

I haven't found any way to do this yet, unfortunately. It might require writing an extension. I'll let you know if I learn anything more.

Phpbb3 Categories.....All forums grouped together?

side note: thanks for all the work you've been putting into this! I don't know how you pull it off and still keep a cool head. I manage the website for my work, though I have zero IT training - and it involves lots of growling, cussing, & banging my head against the desk. Generally I have to be isolated from all human contact while I'm working with any type of code.
