You can also just reply and in the reply edit window at the bottom you'll see the posts of the previous people in the thread. If you highlight one of their sentences and then press the quote button of that post it will insert the highlighted sentence into your reply.

This is difficult to explain.

Apparently also difficult for my system to perform. I just tried to pull in quotes for mind-mapping from your reply and from another reply. The try was successful, but then I could not get Preview to show it to me. It cleared the edit window and waited for me to start again. Quite likely an error on my part, but at least I tried.
