Hello All,
This is my first attempt at a language log..hope I'm doing this right.
I dabble in several languages, but at the moment my emphases lie in Spanish and Italian.
My current study strategy for Italian is study 30 minutes with Pimsleur Gold Italian, completing a unit and then augmenting with Routledge Intensive or Innovative Language to make sure I get 30 minutes.
I also have an Italian tutor for an hour once a week. Our first meeting was last week.
For Spanish, I listen, watch, speak, write, or read on my own and also go to a conversation group.
I have a solid 30 minutes or more of Italian study everyday, since 13 January, inclusive.
I haven't been tracking my Spanish lately. My DLPT in Spanish is 4/3. My Italian in 2012 was a 3/2, but right now it is about a 1/1. My goal is to reach the 3/2 level in April 2019. My tutor says he's confident that I will.

Welcome, Mary!!
What an interesting collection of languages! By language of the Andalusian Jewish diaspora in North Africa, do you mean Haketia/Ladino Occidental? I look forward to reading more about your language learning!

This is your log. No right or wrong way!
And good to see another person in here who takes/took DLPTs! Welcome!

You're not a C1 (or B1 or whatever) if you haven't tested.

Re: Mary's Language Log
Mary, how's your Italian going? I'm signing up for the Italian DLPT today. Wonder if it is a 5 or one of the old versions.
