About the Language Cooking / Micro Learning logs:

As it is known by their very title, they are about micro-learning only.
But not outruling the possibility of having A1 knowledge of one of them today.
This even could happen after a sufficient amount of micro-learning only has been done.

Newsflash:

There are now two "spin-off" threads that are about Grammar Glue Words only. I really do love those words.

They are inside the "pratical questions and advice" subforum.

Spanish: Grammar Glue Words
https://forum.language-learners.org/vie ... =17&t=9378

French: Grammar Glue Words
https://forum.language-learners.org/vie ... =17&t=9379

Possibly more (threads like them) to come later.

Another newsflash:

I suppose that my (slightly uncommon but still important in this case) full disclosure really was one of the reasons opening myself a bit more once again. :) Now it is at least possible for y'all to know why some (but not all at all) of my posts could appear a bit unfamiliar to some of you sometimes [some - some - some ... why on Earth did I keep repeating that word???]. ;) Since then, I also started posting in several threads outside of my log, and even got much more replies than before when it was mainly about my log only.

Spanish:

has been changed from reading/writing:B2, listening/speaking:A2-B1 to B1-B2 for both.
(Doesn't mean that there was a negative boost regarding reading and writing. But I wrote it this way for the sake of simplicity, because it is like this approximately. There are some topics with a lot of specific jargon that would be B1 for me anyway, so ... that slight change about reading/writing isn't really wrong.)

Reflections, reflections, reflections...

also working on something Bigger Than Just Minor once again. Need to flesh it out a bit first, though.
But I cannot use a certain term for it, because it already has been taken... :o

Could anyone please tell me because of which person I am unable to use the term Language Cooking for the new idea I am working on???

(For those of you new to this log: this is a question that doesn't require an answer at all... ;) Really. It isn't meant to be answered. Insider joke? Not really, but... maybe you find out later what this is all about. )

Now thinking of a different term for that idea which I didn't even mention yet...

Seems like a post without real content? Well, I already did the same when I posted that This Message Is Not Spam thing which appeared even strange to the person who wrote it (i.e. myself). This is to log that there was some progress related to languages in general, but it still needs some optimization. Nevertheless, it is something m-a-j-o-r, really.

And some Spanish news, too:

It started to become more familiar to me once again. This time, I don't even really know why. But simply happy about it.

Also... there seems to be even more inner logic to Spanish than I have been realizing in the past. Although still looking for more jigsaw puzzle pieces.

From my previous post:

Now I am very happy to say that it has been fleshed out. And I didn't even feel the need of coming up with a Super Fancy Name this time.

Here it is:
The language called communication: reading between the lines, avoiding misunderstandings, patterns of behavior

And yes, it is a language log.

How do you call brainstorming when it is done by one person only?
However you call it... that first spin-off log (the language called communication) did trigger a lot of One Person Only Brain Storming. If I would post about all of those thoughts at once, then the thread would look like a plain information overload. So I am forcing myself to postpone many of those.

Second spin-off:

SGP's Coming Closer To Nihongo (Japanese) Log

(Has been re-merged with this multi-language log afterwards. This only means that from now on, I would post here once again, not there.)

Another spin-off log (the link also explains the reason of opening a new one shortly after the previous one which is about Japanese):

SGP's Beyond Beginner's Swahili Log

(Has been re-merged with this multi-language log afterwards. This only means that from now on, I would post here once again, not there.)

This still is my main log in the sense of being "the mother of all spin-off logs of mine". :D So when there are some updates that are important enough, I have a strong reason for posting them here.

Just spent, I kid you not, three hours or even more mostly thinking about the "new" language I am currently learning and posting (although not everything really is new to me, on the contrary, there also was a lot going on in the background, and it still is, you can think of connecting the dots and so on).

For the sake of easy accessibility, I would re-post the link in situations like these, rather than telling you to refer to a previous post or even the first one.

So here is the link to this language learner's log once again:

The language called communication

This is a link list of the first 28 topics that were covered in "the language called communication" (now All Things Communication):
