Trump should ban French. In the meantime you can test your vocabulary here:

UPDATE

Assimil FWOT completed.
Colloquial French 1 & 2 completed.
Teach Yourself French Grammar (1961) completed.
MÉTHODE Berlitz: Partie Francaise - 2eme livre (1889) completed.
French In Action completed.
G. Mauger's Cours de Langue et de Civilisation Francaises I (1953) completed.
Cortina 1918 (33rd ed.) completed.

I have run out of beginner-level courses and am proud to report that my project has been successfully completed (3 weeks ahead of schedule!)!

What's next? SKYNET GOES ONLINE! WORLD DOMINATION LOG.

Thank-you so much for your invaluable support, advice and patience. I am well aware that I am extremely verbose (a trait that I will max-out during the semester when the Francophones flock back to the island!)

In my next log, I will stop writing so much (I certainly won't have the time when the semester starts) and won't be raiding certain people's inboxes so frequently either (you know who you are! )

Yes, excellent work, Skynet. While I’m on a technology player-hater mission, I find myself wondering which technological advancements can I have installed to render your threatening advancement on world domination mute. The answer- I find myself at peace with the idea of defeat. RIP PM, the writing is on the wall.

You mentioned you were from Zimbabwe? Don't suppose you know any Setswana speakers? Someone who'd be willing to help some fellow forum members?

Hi Rick,
Yes, I am Zimbabwean. I can read and understand extremely basic Setswana because of my extensive travels to Botswana and S. Africa, though I do not have anything that approaches a native accent. I am more than happy to help between my French and German bursts.

Remind me again how on earth you manage to achieve all those great things in your classes, labs, sailing, vibrant social life AND have time to learn languages like this? The human condition clearly no longer applies to you! :o

I only went through the videos and read the transcripts. I certainly did NOT go through those voluminous workbooks!
