It will go there, once I'm done editing (which is what I meant by my second sentence in that post). As it stands, it still needs work, so it stays in my log or my computer. I prefer here as a working post.

But how do you actually look for something on this site? I tend to use the search function - so searching "Nahuatl" or "Nahuatl Resources" makes it findable for now versus being buried in the resource section page umpti since those aren't in any logical order.

You can search for words, but Google is your friend.

Code: Select all

site:forum.language-learners.org Nahuatl

It sounds like you should volunteer for a talk at the next Polyglot Gathering for Nahuatl.

I feel that I would be a fake with that language. I do think I have a topic for the next meeting...

2018 - *to be announced* (computer/language related)
2019 - tibetan / ladakhi ??
2020 - nahuatl ??
2021 - tzotzil ??

Better get cracking!!

There is also a translation related subject - maybe in 2020.

And now you're tempting me too with your Nahuatl. I should stop reading this forum. Maybe I'd actually learn something then instead of trying to run off in twenty directions at once.

Pick-up various things these last days...
IMG_52141.jpg

  • An Akkadian manual for my daughter.
  • Teach Yourself Samoan
  • Tzotzil Dictionary in 3 volumes
  • A ridiculous little book in the Alur language
  • Petite Grammaire de la langue du Bas-Congo (with a particularly paternalistic and colonialist intro)

And a little link I need to check out:

Ha, why not? Let's go with that. :D
It's actually a letter opener that I keep on my desk - I inherited it from my grandfather.

I'm relieved to hear that...I was originally a little worried it might be instrumental to learning Samoan.
