Seems like all the Korean language learners decided to update at the same time haha.

I'm always amazed by what you manage to do each day. How many hours do you think you spend on Korean on average?

I'm not really sure. I tend to get sidetracked easily, so sometimes I'll just randomly end up doing something else in the middle of studying. That makes it a bit difficult for me to determine the amount of time I spend actually studying. I've thought about trying to keep track of how long I study for at least a few days or so, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Also, I don't really feel like I do all that much to be honest. I always feel like I should be doing more.

I am very impressed with the dedication you put to your Korean studies, and all the input you are getting is remarkable. But I am growing quite concerned about the relative lack of writing and speaking in your routines. Perhaps, it's about the right time to rethink about your study routine? It's just that I have seen many Korean learners with broken hearts when they discover that even after years of learning the language, they fail to produce something understandable to Korean ears and eyes. :(

I can see from your log that you are a hardworking person who is very motivated to learn Korean, and I am confident that you will improve your writing and speaking greatly if you really put your mind to it. :)

Well, thanks for your concern, but speaking isn't really my main goal right now. My main goal is to be able to understand shows and such. Of course, speaking would surely still be helpful somehow, but I have autism and social anxiety, so I don't even speak that much in general. I do try speaking aloud to myself from time to time in Korean, and I do write my journal entry every day, although there isn't much to write about really. I do plan to rethink my study plan once I've worked through the KGIU Advanced book, but for now I'm mostly just going to stick to my current study routine. Also, it would be odd if I were to have a broken heart over not being able to speak Korean when I've barely done so. Obviously I won't become better at speaking Korean until I actually start trying to speak Korean.

what anki deck are you using? is it a premade one or do you just add words that you find yourself?

I have two Anki decks, one for vocabulary and one for grammar/sentences. The vocabulary one is one that I made myself. The grammar deck was originally Evita's grammar deck, and I've just been adding on to it.
