Re: Tarvos'
In Grecia voglio comprarmi libri greci.

All right, I have started my new log detailing the inner workings of polyglot. I will rework posts of my OLD HTLAL log in order to generate content as well as write new content based on more recent experience, updating those old insights and combining them with the new.

Re: Tarvos'
On Tuesday I leave home again for Berlin, and on Thursday I am going to Prague for three days before I'm spending a week in Szentgotthárd (Hungary) at an Esperanto event (I probably won't be so active that week). After that on my way back I am stopping in Munich to see my friend and then on the 25th I fly to Greece for a month (flying from Charleroi, so passing through the devilish land of Belgium again - not looking forward to that).
I was originally planning to visit Switzerland and Liechtenstein, but prices put me off of that, so I have decided on the cheaper Prague instead. Which is on the way down to Hungary anyway (and that is a new country I can tick off. We'll do Liechtenstein some other time).
Which means that I am planning to practice my German, Czech and Esperanto, and I'll take my Hungarian phrasebook as well. Probably I will also speak French while in Berlin with my French friend.

Re: Tarvos'
All right, on for a linguistic summer! I've taken my Serbian and Hungarian materials with me, so I can learn some Serbian on the go! I plan to buy one or two books on the way in German (and maybe Czech, haha) to read. I've also taken some Dutch material to read.

Re: Tarvos'
Now I am in Prague and using my mediocre Czech. It gets me beers in bars, but that's about it.

Re: Tarvos'
I am posting this from Hungary, where I am communicating fluently in Esperanto. I have made loads of new friends that say and even met a few famous ones!
Czech didn't improve that much, but I did meet Cavesa. And I have learned some basic Hungarian here as well, just for fun. But I am not continuing with that.
My plans now include improving my Greek, reading my Italian and Romanian books and adding Czech to the advanced list. Y
That is the B level languages.

Re: Tarvos'
Now in Germany. Tomorrow I travel home (well to my parents, which is legally my home), and on Tuesday I am flying to Crete, for a month. At least I'm staying put. For once.
