Re: PM’s Full Throttle Face Off vs Flat-out, Flat-stick, Fully sick French Till Mid Nov 2018 Exam(s)

Postby PeterMollenburg » Wed Jul 18, 2018 12:16 am

My most important update ever:

I did some walking around lately, ate some food, looked at things with my eyes, brushed my teeth here and there (mainly with live poisonous snakes), pondered my existence, questioned things, received mail, typed some things, paid taxes, paid bills, drove my car, rode my bike, paddled my kayak, listened, watched, read and spoke.

Why do we all think so alike? Clearly we should not. Should we even think so much? Perhaps we don’t think enough.

I wonder why we all think alike. Is it a learned thing? I feel so ordinary. There's nothing wrong in being ordinary - in fact I prize it, because to me it's a sign that I'm doing well, because I'm not noticed, I'm just me, and there's nothing wrong. At least on the surface, and maybe deeper. Hmm.

Do we all think alike? I've literally never met anyone who I felt thought like me... Unless you mean in the senses that make us human.. then I think the answer is genetic hard wiring due to evolution...

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

We should think more, we don't think enough, but we also don't act enough. There should be a balance between the two and we should do more of both (at least that's how I feel). I'd like both to be part of a "tribe" (Ani's expression), and a bit special. But not too much

I use Assimil right now as a starting point, but at the same time I am building the foundation for further studies of German.

Assimil German with ease: 8 / 100

Who said that? :-D :-D :-D

There is a simple way to prevent the preC1/C2 exam craziness: have some worse problems and challenges at the same time :-D

For example, preparation for the microbiology and pathology exams plus some unpleasant depressive symptoms worked just fine. Sure, I was a little crazy during those times but the etiology was different! :-D Don't blame the DALF!
