Because I am still struggling with comprehension with series and movies unlike the news. I feel to iron out some problems, returning to something simpler for a while an building from there, may resolve some of these issues. I could perhaps, as some suggest, dive on in to a series and hang in there until I catch up with the speed of the dialogue, however, i'd prefer to go back to the beginning. It won't hurt my news comprehension, as that's already great. I'm wasting time with series lately, so wind it back a little I say. It just feels like the right thing to do, to strengthen my ability to focus.

Salut Peter.

Quant à celui que m’as suggéré au-dessus, ça m’intéresse beaucoup. Merci tastyonions.

C'est pour toi à intérpréter en temps réel en français, with 600 kids in [ton] living room, a fire engine out front, [ta] house burning down, someone [te] stabbing [-] in the face.

Bugger it, I’m going back to my mission because I’m the most ridiculous person around these parts.... Alors, reboot, same goals, some numbers, some dates, catch ya soon. What am I at war with myself? My myself and Pyreen?

I am the ridiculous one.

PS 1. smallwhite, will reply soon - been too busy and too distracted.

2. a distraction has included a full season (with EN subs) of ‘Spin’ a.k.a. Les hommes de l’ombre. By the end of season one, i was referring to the subs just for reference and stopped being annoyed. The French was becoming clearer, in bigger blocks. Still, Peppa Pig will get some air play, because Peppa Pig holds the keys to our future.

MISSON TIME!!! (mission number 867, to be abandonned in 6.2 seconds),

Who am I? I was born in 2142 with a golden carrot in my mouth? Wtf? PM get with the program. (No i’m not drinking, nor am I on drugs or hallucinating).

Green peas out

PPS I’m kinda a bit of a dickhead, but hey, who care? I don’t ;)

Re: PM's 1000 hrs of French in 254 days to C1 Nov. 2018

I've just finished my 'third wave' of Assimil Using French.

Now that that's done, I'll post a few recordings that I had decided to do a little while back, once the third wave was done. I'm to do a handful of recordings for pronunciation demonstration. The first recording below is from a fairly easy lesson.

I was a little nervous so there could be some 'weak spots', but I won't leave any hints on what to look for.

Duchesse, région (twice) don't sound right. In general these two sounds sound a bit off:

Otherwise I'd say you did a great job. I will of course defer to Arnaud.
