Bien joué, sctroyenne...these are amazing results!! The exam sounds like a bit of a nightmare overall, so you did really well to get through it all in one piece. I hope this helps you achieve your current goals, and leads to bright new possibilities in French.

Félicitations ! Et te voilà de retour. :-)

Tu as bien réussi ton examen, malgré quelques difficultés très embêtantes.

Great summary and would be interested in knowing what studies you believe pushed you up to C1 and beyond. Congratulations!!!

Congratulations! I too will be curious to hear what you did to get into the C levels, as it's something that doesn't really get covered much on the forum.

wow that exam sounds tough. Well done with your excellent results despite the rediculous counting of words (what the hell is that!!) fast pace (that I would struggle with) and the unforeseen changes (tough!). Looking fwd to hearing about your study methods as well. And welcome back :)

I know, what's up with the obsession with word count? If you want to make a max limit to make grading easier just have a fixed number of lines on the answer sheet that would result in a manageable word count with average-sized handwriting. And who gives a **** how much I write anyway? You can't limit me! My work emails are like novels! Sure they're long but I've analyzed every possible eventuality of minor policy changes and weighed all the advantages and disadvantages (seriously, I am simultaneously every character in this sketch). It's just who I am, man.

But who are you really though? If you are simultaneously all off these characters in this, let's be frank, "masterpiece", then you should be granted a C5 level (especially created for you personally as the only person to reach such a level) in every language on Earth without having to sit any exams ever!!!

Respect man, respect ;)
