Zweitausendachtzehn (DE, FR, ES, IT, PT, NL)

Postby tastyonions » Wed Dec 27, 2017 1:18 pm

Mein Deutsch ist noch immer wirklich schlecht. Deshalb will ich mehr schreiben, um es zu verbessern. Ich werde auch eine Deutschstunde pro Woche nehmen. Bis bald!

J'ai écrit la première note de ce blog en allemand parce qu'il sera au centre de mes efforts en 2018 mais je continuerai aussi à écrire dans mes autres langues, bien sûr.

Je vous souhaite tous un 2018 plein de réussites (et de plaisirs) linguistiques.

It's kind of weird that each conversation in a language provides me with so much energy and motivation for learning it when I'm a pretty shy person.

Bisher nicht schlecht! Seit Anfang des Jahres habe ich mindestens eine Stunde pro Tag Deutsch studiert. Ich habe auch die Entscheidung getroffen, alle Lehrbücher liegen zu lassen: davon habe ich die Nase ziemlich voll...

Continuing with my "YouTube method" for German: just watch whatever videos interest me for an hour each morning and look up any words I don't know. I feel like my comprehension is definitely on the way up!

Writing a simple cloze-deletion tool, mostly so I can practice prepositions:

The tool is (mostly) finished!: https://forum.language-learners.org/vie ... =19&t=7612

You can enter as much text as you want and it has two solution styles available: with the original text refilled (and deleted words from the cloze exercise highlighted), or numbered blanks plus numbered solutions.

Over two years learning German and I *still* feel like just giving it up sometimes.

Xmm posted a vocabulary test earlier today, I'm told I have the same (french) vocabulary size as a ten year old. Not sure how I feel about that. :-)
