Aisee, maybe I would make a Deadline Challenge for myself any time soon.

Update: Done (both the deadline and the nano-sized challenge). About a certain African tonal language. Few phrases only. Spoken.

Looking back over this year of 2018...

Me Jan 8 2018..."My input I still struggle with and I am yet to find ways that are enjoyable for me to receive input in Spanish, I am hoping that with the reading and listening I can find fun activities and I have allowed myself this month to experiment and find these enjoyable activities."

Well it seems I have reached my goal eventually (although it took much longer than 1 month to achieve) it's been a real struggle at times but my 2018 totals are:
Reading: 2,502 pages (50 books)
Listening: 5,936 mins (98 hours)
Writing: 14,085 words (1 book)
Speaking: 1,680 minutes (28 hours)

In total I have spent around 300 hours on Spanish this year. Which sadly only equates to 1 hour a day, I would like to increase this in 2019.

Reading & listening to Spanish are both much easier and so both are much more enjoyable now.

I think my 2019 plan will just be more of the same....my aim for now is just to complete the SC.

This week's stats....
Read 75 pages in total.
0 hours of listening.

No Glossika...not much Anki...busy Xmas week. Surprised I managed to fit in anything this week!

To be on track for the Super Challenge I should have read 40 books by the end of 2018, as of today I have read 37.6 books.

I'm on holiday tomorrow and so I will try and read/listen as much as I can whilst enjoying the festivities.

Feliz Navidad

So 2018 is over...I have achieved many of the things I wanted to and also not achieved many of the things I wanted to.

My progress has been steady but nothing spectacular in 2018...maybe as novice language learner I just have to live with that.

I will be starting a new log for 2019 just so I can record my Super challenge progress.

New log for 2019:
