Language learning has been my obsession for quite some time now, but I haven't really done anything about it. It started with Japanese in mid-2012, for the purpose of translating Pokemon games (I was 14 ). Most languages interest me, so definitely expect some wanderlust. Japanese is the only language that I've learned to any degree of proficiency, so I'll be starting almost from scratch on most of these.
I'm quite concise, so here's what I'd like to study:
Cherokee ~ I wanted to learn an indigenous language, and this seems to have the most resources.
German ~ Heritage language. (I come from a Mennonite background)
Japanese ~ Started as stated above, now I just like the culture.
Slovak ~ I'll give it a try in case I ever get to go to the Polyglot Gathering.
I'll post summaries in the languages I'm studying (once I can. Right now, that's only Japanese)
日本語:
こんにちは!言語を学びたいです。2012年の中に、日本語を初めて勉強しました。チェロキー語、ドイツ語、スロバキア語も学びたいです。
(this is like my tenth attempt to post a log due to perfectionism, so I guess I'll just go ahead and post...)
