Definitely interesting to faceoff English + Spanish vs. Italian. I took the Italian test 10 times and averaged 35.6%.
STDEV = 5.91

I felt like I was definitely getting used to some of the morphology after repeated iterations. I didn't look at the explanations provided at the end of each exam.

Thanks. I assume you're referring to these tests:

Which conclusion do the test results allow?

"The results achieved on the vocabulary tests allow conclusions as to participants' reading proficiency level as laid down in the CEFR. Successful completion of levels 1000 and 2000 indicates a reading level of A2. Knowledge of the most frequent 3000 words suggests a reading level of B1. Completing all five levels implies a reading level of B2.

Yep, this one; it was the easiest.

I am most satisfied with this result, considering my Italian studies consist almost entirely of watching TV and reading a handful of books. Time to put my Italian anki deck in run-off mode!

Test your receptive vocabulary in Portuguese.
How many of the 5000 most frequent Portuguese words do you know?

For each item you answer correctly you are awarded one point. If you enter a wrong answer or leave a blank you are not awarded any points. For each level (1000 most frequent words, 2000 most frequent words etc.) you can reach a maximum of 30 points.

If you reach a minimum of 80%, that is 24 points or more for one level, you’ve successfully completed that level. Completing all five levels implies a reading level of B2.

1 29/30
2 30/30
3 25/30
4 29/30
5 24/30

137/150

This, on the other hand, is vexing. But not a surprise. Russian doesn't like me. This is why I turned to flash cards and frequency lists (whether they are going to help remains to be seen).

I passed all the five German levels (total score: 140/150). Receptive voc. only. A fantastic result given the amount of noise and disruption here. I apparently left some questions unanswered.

Yay for the last test. Finally one I can pass in French. :)
Here is my italien one:

Hai detto SÌ al 54% delle parole esistenti.

Hai detto SÌ al 13% delle non-parole.

Questo ti da un punteggio di 54% - 13% = 41%.

Questo è un livello di competenza medio.

But now I feel like I should take it 9 more times and calculate the standard deviation like Coldrainwater did... Showoff :-p
