Second, let's compare your results to the ones of non-native speakers. Your result is better than 100% of test takers'

Looked up "me cachis en la mar" and 2-3 other things
RU 18 hours
FRA 12 hrs
GER 10 hrs

Where else can I pass off 100 episodes of a TV show as a "progress report".

Re: Reineke's log
I like these guys.
March - April
Ru: finished Salem''s Lot (audiobook). I made it about half way into Dreamcatcher. I listened to the toilet scene at least a dozen times. Very useful stuff. I also watched some TV.
French: TV.
Polish: music, Ogniem i Mieczem, Quo Vadis (audiobooks - random chapters).
Czech: Svejk audiobook (a few hours). While the experience was encouraging, I am in no hurry with this one.
Japanese: Urusei Yatsura. I have also ripped the audio and I am occasionally listening to it. I recognized some of the vocabulary I learned in 2007.
Italian: music
Spanish: some TV
Portuguese: Very little, I'm afraid.
German: audiobook tracks here and there. I'll tap on Golo Mann's History of Germany and choose a random track. Der Mann ohne Eigenschaften. I put that one accidentally on "shuffle". It was great.

Re: Reineke's log
I like listening to Polish. Among other things it reminds me of the progress I made with Russian.
The great battle for Polish. I have deleted everything Polish from my phone so many times that I am afraid I will corrupt my memory card. The upside is that each time I delete and then restore Polish I put some order into my files. My phone is now a lean, mean language learning machine. Btw, I have 0 memorization apps. This brings me to my next conundrum: getting Japanese into my head. Japanese has always been in

In the past two posts you've answered more of iguanamon's questions about your language background than in your entire forum lifetime, reineke.
