помыть смыть мить...
Dirty pigs.
I also took a look at Glossika Russian. "Does he wash windows?" Eh, it's a supplementary course all right.
Russian WWII documentary: 46/96. I had to fight several living room coup attempts.

Re: Reineke's log
Ah, Peppa Pig! Thanks for the reminder! I watched a number of those episodes in Cantonese and Czech a while ago. Time to get back to them!

Re: Reineke's log
Обратная сторона Луны» 2 - I'm half way through, but I stopped paying attention after the first few episodes.
WWII documentary: 76/96. I can understand documentaries a lot better than some TV fiction. Soaps feel easy too.
Kipper is still great.
I'm exploring Russian-based FIGS courses. Bla, bla, бла бла... So far I am finding the language combinations stimulating but I don't know if I'll listen through a single course. Audiobooks are more interesting and the Russian audiobook market is huge. Last year Russia’s Eksmo-owned LitRes announced its "goal to boost its current 7,000 audiobooks on offer to 50,000 of them—in five years".

There are also lots of quality self-published classic audiobooks to choose from.
Gomorra 2nd season: I don't feel like watching this.

Re: Reineke's log
I too like Peppa and Kipper, having watched them with my kids. Thanks, reineke, I must make a mental note to watch these cartoons when I start learning a language again. My favourite Russian cartoon is Маша и Медведь. Beautiful songs and all.

Re: Reineke's log
Владимир Обручев. Плутония
Plutonia (Плутония) is an early science-fiction novel by Russian academician Vladimir Obruchev. It was written in 1915 in Kharkov and first published in the original Russian in 1924. The title Plutonia refers to the novel's setting in a lost land. It is an underground world having its own sun, called Pluto for the Roman god of the underworld. The terrain is marked by dramatic geographic features and inhabited by monstrous animals and primitive people. These are essentially the animal and plant life of previous geological periods in their natural surroundings. As the characters venture deeper into the underground area, they encounter more and more ancient life forms...
The descriptive passages are made more credible by Obruchev's extensive scientific knowledge of geology and paleontology.
Wikip.
"Academician Vladimir Obruchev was an outstanding Soviet geologist and geographer, a famous explorer and investigator of Central Asia and Siberia, an indefatigable popularizer of scientific knowledge, who wrote thousands of scientific articles and a total of three science fiction novels, including this one."

The Sniffer is available on Netflix US with Russian, Polish and Spanish audio and Russian closed captions. A Netflix resource thread might be in order.

Re: Reineke's log
I guessed. One question had Mustafa/Kemal/Ataturk as 3/4 possible answers.
I blindly clicked around (towards the center of the screen) since I cannot read Korean. Edit: I retook the test and I spread my answers around. I got 1410.
