You seem very bothered :) Do you want to post the horoscope question here for discussion (rather than monologue...)?

One of the really hard things about a forum closing like that is that you don't know how to find your friends & acquaintances again, or if it would ever even be possible. I had some people I used to talk to on now-dead social sites and I sometimes miss them or think about them -- I don't even know their names to go look them up (or know if they'd want to be looked up). It is definitely a modern phenomenon that we'll have to learn to work around culturally as more of our social lives happen in privately owned and inherently unstable digital spaces.

But if you ever wanted to be the owner of a large English forum for Russians, now if your day :) what a business opportunity :-)

I don't remember it

Good! I don't really want to find out that I had actually answered it wrong ;)

"forum posts" is the plural you were after.

It really isn't a fair test if you are studying one English and being tested on another. There are real and significant differences. I know I've mentioned before that I use subtitles for British TV.

This is almost certainly connected to a tea deficiency.

I recommend three cups of Twinings english breakfast tea, with milk. Sugar optional, but should not exceed two teaspoons per cup.

Wow you have no idea how serendipitous this post was. I had just left our temporary housing, both cars running, doors locked up. Just about to start driving and I read your post about tea which reminded me I left my tea in the microwave so I was able to run back in and get it! It was in one of my fav purple quart size mason jars so I'm super happy. If we ever get to meet, I owe you a beer :)

I do drink lots of tea, but it is probably my inferior American way of drinking it that is the problem. My fav tea is Tazo French Vanilla Macaron, comes in tea bags not loose, no milk, no sugar, by the quart.

I think of I ever had a chance to skip across the pond, of be able to adapt. I have no trouble with all the accents I hear regularly - Indian, Hispanic, various Asian, Russian -- in fact I hardly notice them.

Edit: Typos.. don't post and drive.
