La peste was strangely easy to read. It's odd, because the lexile score (in English anyway) is much higher than that of Il grande sonno, which was a struggle for me.

It's hard to match Ad Alta Voce audio with texts. Even when the text are originally in Italian, the audio is often abridged. Maybe Il gattopardo will line up well, as it's a short book.

Ho visto tutto tredici episodi di Pugno di ferro.

I primi sette o otto episodi erano veramente terribile. Non ho capito perché “Pugno di ferro” erano così orribile combattente. Dovrebbe essere il “Pugno di ferro”, vero?

Ma ad un certo punto compare il suo amico Davos. Davos osserva “Pugno di ferro” mentre combatte e poi esclama “Wow, sei il peggior Pugno di ferro di sempre.” Finalmente, potrei capire perché lui non mai avuto un piano e perché lui ha combattuto così male.

Di conseguenza, ho capito lo spettacolo. Era più piacevole.

I'm about halfway through Il lungo addio and struggling to finish it. Comprehension is okay, it's just not one of Chandler's best books. When this one's done I'll jump into some Italian novel, tbd.

After finishing season 1 of "Iron Fist" and season 1 of "The Punisher" and most of season 1 of "Daredevil," I'm just about ready to scream. It's all pretty mediocre stuff--there's gotta be something better. I'm geoblocked on RAI, Amazon puts giant English subtitles on everything that you can't remove ... netflix seem to be my only hope. Ugh. I guess the new season of "Suburra" is only eleven months away and I'll just have to wait. But when you have to fill 300 TV viewing hours and the options don't look appetizing, panic can start to set in.

It's a german series, but effectively it was broadcasted in the afternoons during 15 or 20 years on the french Tv, a great success in nursing homes. I suppose retired Italians had also their share of Derrick.
But it's a good source for beginners, the dialogues are really easy to follow.

Ho letto circa 200 pagine di "Un Uomo", un romanzo di Oriana Fallaci.

All'inizio, è stato molto interessante. Quando l'eroe è un prigioniero politico, usa molta creatività combattere la guerra mentale contro il guardiano della prigione.

Purtroppo, quando il prigioniero è liberato, il romanzo diventa una turbolenta storia d'amore. Almeno mi sembra così.

Di conseguenza, il mio interesse nel finire il libro è caduto catastroficamente.

Quindi mi arrenderò e sceglierò qualcos'altro.
